Yeah Yeah yeah another kestrel, lets see you photograph something difficult like a crow or magpie.
aa what can i say mate! i'm green with envy. Both top shots, beautiful sunset.
hehehe many thanks mate :)
The bird is spectacular and the background is lovely - like it has been airbrushed - I don't know how you manage to find these birds. You could combine the bird and background in photoshop
thanks birdgirl and combining them both will create a great photo but i don't know much about it hehehe....this bird just perched in this rail while i was shooting the sunset, so got confused there what to shoot first actually hehehe
Hi aa
could not resist a try....very rough but you get the idea.

Great shots everyone. Don't know if I can trust what I see from now on though!!! I have actually seen a couple of birds of prey lately but in the suburbs of all places. I pulled over to watch one circle over me , don't know what it was but it didn't look very big, I was fascinated to see it's rapid wing beats and then just gliding round in circles and back to flapping again.
Lately I never seem to have a camera at the ready when I see something interesting.

hehehe good job ed, that's also what's in my mind but not that good in photoshop....if you can some-what put the background in out-of-focus to make it look like real hehehe

whoa! cool ed hehehe
I see some geat shots on here, just great. I missed a good one the other day. While driving a steam train just out of Stirling North, was a weggie taking off from an old pole line side. I near always got my camera with me, but on a steam loco with heat & dust it spends most of the time in my bag while travelling. It was good to see this bird take off though.
Cheers
