Finally managed to capture a few shots of a Grey Fantail, took a lot of patience (which my dog ran out of and went on her own to the park!). Also spotted a Whipbird and a pair of eastern Spinebills but no photos :( and an Eastern Yellow Robin on her nest.

Great find with the eastern yellow robin and very good sharp shots of the grey fantail. I have tried to photograph them and know how hard it is
Very nice. Those GFT shots are outstanding. Must get up to the Dandenongs to find a few EY Robins.

Well George I was inspired by your GF shots a few days back and was determined to 'wait it out' 'til I got one!! I'll let Mrs. EYR know you are coming... but she wont be happy..my other half said, when he saw the shots, 'aww how would YOU like to be photographed in your bedroom and then have the pics posted on the net?' ..hmmm don't think I'd better answer that on here :)
Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best
Beautiful shots Hev. So difficult too capture the small flitty ones isn't it?

Gidday Hev, I have been out West then more recently down Brisbane way at Mt Cotton doing a heavy vehicle defensive driving course in B-Doubles and I don't want to do it again,to intense lol.
As for shots, no chance Hev but I will be getting out this weekend for a walk, so fingers crossed.
B-doubles? whatever that is -sounds big! I'm off to the UK via Singapore tomorrow to see the folks. Taking my camera gear of course and hoping to get some shots, hope the weather's better than here... looking out the window at torrential rain that you wouldn't put a pom or your dog out in:) enjoy your walk at the weekend, looking forward to some good shots.
