meant Eastern Robin!

You've shot some nice ones with a crisp and contrasty lens, mate. What are you shooting with?

Congrats ! I like all the shots. They are nice and sharp. The ducks are Wood Ducks.

Thanks y'all! Tark ..it's a sigma lens on a canon 400D. The shots were all hand held (as I couldn't manage Mr. Mono with 2 dogs as well!) the Darter was shot with my Kelpie on a lead looped over my wrist as she was wanting to see what bait she could scrounge from the local fishermen nearby.... so I'm impressed with the OS on the lens!
Off camping tomorrow hoping to get some more pics if the weather improves.
Yeah Tassie, recovered from 'Flu, just been to a Pink concert... wow wish I was as fit as her...I'm not quite up to trapeze acts like that yet... hmm don't think I ever will be:)

Very nice sharp photos. I think the dog might be a plus - I shot my best superb fairy wren photos with my dog's lead around my wrist!

Gidday Hev, I would not have minded going, I listen to Pink all the time in the truck, love her.
I was told that it is a girls trip so being a smart male I did not argue.
I have to work anyway.
:)
Hey Hev is your lense a 150-500mm ?
Not sure if I have already asked.
Cheers.

Tassie

Disregard that last stupid question Hev, I just realized that you did tell us.
I checked out some different places yesterday for prices on that same lense and my wife very firmly pointed out that I will be waiting for a long time when she heard the price.
Oh well, where there is a will there is a way.
