I have been trying to get a decent finch shot for ages... I took this one while I went fishing, was getting no bites and just happened to have my camera with me.

Nice pic berldo
Very hard to get close to. They seem to tease you and just fly a little bit away each time. You can end up following them for a hundred meters or more. I was lucky and got my best pic on the week end as well. Totally worth all your hard work, great pic.
Pretty little birds aren't they... pity they don't come with a pause button!!! Love the prickly stem it is sitting on too.
