Jokes aside that is a great shot aa,well done.
The thing that struck me was the shape of its neck.
Has it just eaten something large or is that normal?
actually tassie, there's another kestrel there but it was in-between me and the sun, so i don't had a clear shot hehehe....but when i inspected the photo, it has a prey (a rat) hehehe next time i'll get that....
that neck is normal, it's really long so when it flies it folds :)....
Gidday aa, its not the length of the neck I was refering to it was the shape.
If you look directly under the eye its like a big square shape jutting out as if its swallowed a margarine container.
It could be normal although I have never noticed that square shape before.
