This week's theme (sorry it is a few hours late) is the Wattlebird (any species). Would love to see photos.
We have the Little and the Red quite often in the backyard here is a couple of the Little.
here is one I prepared earlier:

...and those, the little woman trying very hard to impress her man
and I hate to say it, but she had no luck. He was not even tempted.
Here is a couple from my backyard.
Cheers, Owen.
Great photos everyone. Owen, I love the first of the two you've posted. Well done mate.
Here's a Little Wattlebird I got while away for work at a conference in Kingscliff three years ago.
And a Red Wattlebird or two, a pair of fledglings as well.
How good is that? Took some on the weekend but nowhere near as close as some of these above. Some great shots there. Love the flight one - almost like a circle Akos!
The first below was taken yesterday and the others some time ago.

Love everyones shots. They are really great
Great photos, especially the in-flight one from windy.
I'm not really into wattle birds since they're really common around here, but I do like having them about.

Mine from the garden. Sorry they're so late. I don't get much time during the week.
So many gorgeous photos! Well done everyone. I love to see shots of the 'common' guys captured so beautifully.
Lefti - there is no 'late' here, post whenever you are able to, even after the week is out...
