I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed in increase in the number of corellas around the Northern Rivers area. I live on the outskirts of Lismore, and in the last year or so a flock of corellas seems to have taken up residence in or around a nearby park. Up until recently, I hadn't seen them in our area, and I thought that they preferred drier areas further inland. Any comments?
Hi Jill, they live in all sorts of areas, from semi-arid, woodlands, shrublands, farmlands, and parklands. As far as I know, large flocks attack(that's what farmers say)their crops. So one reason could be, because the floods have destroyed some crops, they escended on your Park? Anyway, that is my idea. And welcome to the forum!
