We're currently debating what this might be? It's a low repetitive hooting. I've tried uploading a recording of it. It's very, very faint in the background. Thought it might be a Tawny, but all the recordings we've looked at the call has been much faster. Also thought it might be a frog. Any one have any ideas? Its from north Brisbane in the morning if that helps.

I couldn't hear your recording but the common bronzewing pigeon has a call like you describe.
I've heard the same thing where I live and there is a couple of Tawny Frog Mouths in the area, so you could be on the right track
Yes, I'd say a Tawny Frogmouth.
Given it's during the day, I reckon it's almost certainly a bronzewing (either Common or Brush Bronzewing).
They have that low, slow, pulsing "oom" repeated a few seconds apart.
