Just thought I'd give you my good deed story of the day. A white-browed babbler juvenile managed to trap himself behind the 13 mm conveyor rubber which protects the metal on our horse stalls at the bottom of our backyard. He must have gotten in at a corner where the rubber bends away from the metal & then found he hadn't enough wing room to fly back out. Judicious use of 2 crowbars managed to free a cobweb coated youngster.
He quickly reunited himself with the resident flock who were quite disturbed outside. I just hope he didn't become too stressed with his ordeal & makes a full recovery although he could fly OK. Bet he'll avoid stables after this.
