Bird of the week: 18th November - plentiful parrots

Howdy everyone

 

Thank you for sharing gorgeous wren photos last week, I loved them all! This week I thought we would focus on those birds that are quintessentially Australian - our beautiful parrots. Its a topic that we have covered a few times before but I don't see why we can't do it again...

Some very nice images so far. I love the Red-capped Parrots - a species that I have yet to see. Here's my latest photo "tick". A Superb Parrot that came down to feed at a roadside stop, north of Wagga Wagga, NSW.
