Ok i am not sure what bird 1 and 2 are but i don't think they are a Whistling Kite.
Bird 3 i think is a Black Kite, i have gone through many pics on line and a lot of pics show that even though they have a forked tail when it is spread out it doesn't look forked?
I still think 3 is a Black Kite, 1&2 Whistling Kites.

The colour looks wrong for a Whistling Kite?

Bird 1 looks good for a Whistling Kite, it could be the same bird as in your new pic
Peter
First one I'm also going with whistling kite. I took a picture of a pair last week and they both were noticably different in colouring, I guess age could have played a part there... The third picture is definitley black kite as it has the dark behind the eye and colouring/pattern match, Morcombe's feild guide mentiones when the tail is open it can appear as a square tipped triangle and I have noted that myself when looking back at a picture I took of a large group.
Thanks guys, i guess i was just hoping for another one to tick of my list
Peter it is funny you said that it might be the same bird, i went back to my files and discovered that the bird 1 shot and the new one i posted were taken one second apart so yep same bird

Bird 1 is a Whistling Kite... cassie would be right that plumage gets darker with age. But it looks like it is just bad lighting in photo 1. Bird 2 looks like WK but I am questioning the wingtips and tail length proportions... makes it seem like a Brahminy juv. but I could be wrong.
Bird 3 is definitely a Black Kite. The tail of a BK can vary from obviously forked to lightly forked. If you're thinking it may have been ST Kite, you would know it when you see it... They're not hard to ID.
