Birds of Namadgi

Hi

This seems to be my favorite place for birding of late, there is a great variety and it seems to change each tine I go. There seems to be everything from rainbow bee eaters to gang gangs. Here are a few I have take of late - although the gang gang is still too quick for me

Lovely shots. Rainbow Bee-Eaters are definitely one of my favourite little birds. Love the reed warbler as well. :)

The noisy miner shot reminded me of the other day watching a swarm of willie wagtails harassing a crow in a tree. They were zipping in,  pulling its tail feathers and then flying off. Fun to watch, shame I didn't have my camera with me.

thanks everyone - those little birds are so game when they take on the big birds, but guess they know they are faster.

Yes windshear I love the bee eaters too, I was thrilled to find some here in /Canberra as I had only seen them in Queensland.
