There was one reported as calling at the Wetlands a bit over a week ago so went down on Sunday and was delighted to have him come out of the reeds and give a good opportunity to get some pics.
He stayed out for 5 minutes before some people chatting came to the hide.
Note the pink breeding flush, i hope a girl turns up.

As far as i know only 4 of us have seen him and i was lucky to get another sighting last Friday.
