Tricky birds to photograph if they are the same sort of Quails that live in my garden.
Their plumage allows them to really blend in with their surroundings which makes sense but what's with the yellow legs. They might as well wear some high vis socks.

Nice shots of the brown quail - see them from time to time around sydney olympic park. Never had much luck photographing them as they move pretty quickly through the grass, or as Tim says fly off fast and low to some cover.

I have seen some around my place and taken some photos. But I had no idea their feet are yellow. The ones around my place must have been juveniles, their feet looked more brown. That would also explain why there were two huddled together under a shrub.
