Brush Cuckoo

I am in Darwin for the week and just spent a lovely morning at McMinns Lagoon with Green Pygmy Geese and a Little bronze Cuckoo to name a couple. Then I came across this bird which I think is a Brush Cuckoo. Coud someone confirm please?  Sue

I think it's a Fan-tailed Cuckoo. ( but then again, you might not find them up there?) It looks just like the ones I get in my garden.

Thanks for the suggestion M-L but I know the Fan-tailed Cuckoo. As you surmised, they do not occur in Darwin and the yellow eye-ring is not present. This one just looked different and browner. There are so many birds here that are new to me, I just wanted to be certain. Sue
