Went out to northern part of Leschenault Inlet to check out local raptors and Rainbow Bee Eaters and ran into this beautiful specimen on a path.
My 155th tick and to my delight , the Rail stood its ground for a few minutes allowing me a few snaps.
Course I had to get obligatory Raptor and Bee Eaters shots as well :)
Outstanding shots of the rail ... amazing looking bird. Awesome to get a new species with such wonderful photos of it out in the open.
Great work. What is the first raptor?

Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
Great set laza. Love the BBR's. You did well to get that many shots of him as they are normally very camera shy.
Great shots laza. BBRs are one of my favourite birds since a family of them called my backyard home for a couple of months some years ago. Terrific to get so close. Thanks for sharing.
Sensational shots Laza, so fortunate with the BBR, I only have one blurry shot of one disappearing into the distance as it ran off. Love the Bee Eaters they are such a beautiful bird.
