First managed to picture this small one at the Arkarra Lagoons, Hervey Bay, QLD and the second was also in Hervey Bay. Any ideas?
Top one had me thinking figbird female or Olive backed oriole initially, but you suggested it was small so I'm not sure.
I'd say the bottom one is a friarbird - either Little Friarbird or immature Noisy Friarbird (no prominent nose bump).

Ok after a bit more research Im thinking the top one might be a female rufous whistler
Rufous Whistler & Little Friarbird
Second Rufous Whistler (probs female) & Little Friarbird
