Coming down the Forrest Hwy near Ludlow W.A I stopped at rest area.
I was quite amazed to see a pair of im guessing Brown Goshawks and their fledging sitting in the trees.
Sadly Im guessing my first close up view of these birds was due to recent Waroona/Yarloop fires as they seemed rather stuck in small area of unburnt bushland
Nice find, I think you are right about them being goshawks.
I wonder if they were attracted by the possibility of prey being more visible on the fire-cleared ground.
