I understand that the picture isn't super clear and that the tail is not visible, however, hoping the feet might help someone tell me if it is a Collard Sparrowhawk or a Brown Goshawk? I can see the frown, making me think it is a Goshawk however i have read that that is not always a clear indicator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Katherine, not sure I can help much, but here is an older post if you follow the link comparing the 2. Unfortunately the legs and tail are not clearly visible in your photo, bit it does appear to have "the glare" of the Brown Goshawk in the 1st pic.
