Is this a Cattle Egret ?

I was mowing the lawn and found this fellow standing on a high tree nearby at Brisbane, QLD. I captured its pictures by mobile phone so the quality is not that high. I got some video footage too to show its flying pattern that is similar to Egret's . The video file is too big to upload it here. The bird looked like a member of egret family with white colour and orange head.  Is it a Cattle Egret in breeding ?

From the photo and size of the bird I'd say yes for a Cattle Egret in breeding plumage.

I'll second that! When the cattle egrets are breeding they get beautiful bright orange plumes on their heads and necks.

yes, but difficult to get close to for a good pic; there is a breeding colony on the Bruce Hway, just north of Gympie

Thanks TheBirdLover, Elsie, Peter and Zosterops for confirming a Cattle Egret. Very nice picture Peter, next time I am in Gympie will bring my camera along.
