I just came across some photos I forgot I took and would like confirmation and an ID if possible.. I take it the guy (or gal) hanging around the cattle on my mums property are cattle egret? the other one I have no idea what it is, not the best photo as I had to heavly crop
Agree with Cattle Egret.
Second one looks like maybe a Peregrine Falcon, but wait for others to chime in.

I'd say that you are right about the cattle egrets, and I'm not so sure about the third shot. My first thought was an Australian Hobby but I am more than happy to be called wrong
Australian Hobby I think, but calling these two in flight isn't my strongest suit.

Cattle Egret and A. Hobby. The rufous orange on chest etc shows it's a Hobby rather than a Peregrine Falcon. Lorne, Bundanoon, NSW.
Definitely an Australian Hobby (adult by the look of it).
The Peregrine would also have very heavy barrell shaped body and broader wings.
