Crazy, isn't it? Nothing to stop an airline passenger taking a photo as they taxi out or from the air as they double back over the field. Nothing to stop Google Maps either!
Once upon a time maps of Darwin were blank in the middle (where the Airport is). Yet you could buy a Russian satterlite photo of Darwin at the Government Map Shop.
I have been regularly flying from Newcastle (Williamtown Airport) to Brisbane and they tell you that you can't take pics whilst walking out to the plane.
I really need to get back up the top. Usually see a couple In the caravan park that I stay in when i go up ( Malak ). Just out of interest BajanAlan do you know what's happenning with seasons this year , I notice you haven't had a lot of rain yet . Late wet maybe ? I usually come up in september , I like the build up
G'day Alan , going to be a late one or dry one then . Fogg dam is amazing , I spend hours out there . Mind you I lose count of how many species I see just sitting under the awning of the van at Malak .Might look at coming up in Sept- Oct this year.

Hi Neil
We are still in build up mode.
Hope it rains soon to fill up the reservoirs.
Also need rain for Fogg Dam to overflow.
That is when the birds put on thier show.
Regards Alan
