Visited my daughter this afternoon, just up the road. There was just one lone Sulphur-crested Cockatoo sitting in a tree. Where I live, we don't get them, they stay in town where people feed them

you can come over and have the time with the ones the """"""""" neighbor feeds, broken ariels a dead give away you are getting close.
I'm with you George, it's not the bird's fault though, it's the """""""""""""" neighbour who feeds them. My daughter had to replace the railing on the balcony when she moved in, because she didn't feed like the former owners did, the Cockatoos took revenge and destroyed the timber on her decking.
There was an application made to the local council to ban the feeding of Cockatoos, but it was rejected by a very small majority. What can you do?

Do a Clive Palmer & ask for a recount, Araminta.
Do those who voted against the banning of artificial feeding of the sulphur-crested cockatoos realise they're preventing the birds from playing their role in the natural environment?
