Hi
I saw this rosella feeding with an adult crimson rosella, and saw them both fly off together. Been puzzling over it for a while - at various times I have decided its an eastern, and then a juvenile crimson and then an eastern crimson cross? Its the white/blue cheeks patches that really make it look a bit of both. Photos taken at Scheyville NP - western sydney.
Interested in others opinions ... thanks
yep looks like a hybrid to me
I agree, probably a cross. What a beauty!
