Hello

I have a work trip to Darwin in the near future and probably a loan car and two days free.

Where are good spots for any Wren's and other msall birds? I may also go for Kingfishers and similar.

Thanks

Hi AJS

Can't help you with wrens much. East Point Reserve is good for Sacred, Forest and Collared Kingfishers and a number of other birds as well  and close to town. Howard Springs and Holmes Jungle Reserves are worth a visit.

Fogg Dam is 50 - 60 kms out but well worth a visit too. All sorts of birds on the day. Sadly the best walk for Kingfishers (mostly Forest, Little and Azure) is currently closed for repairs. Sometimes a croc to be seen but only sometimes.

I'm booked in for the week of the 31st and should be able to manage a few hours a day after work. I may even be able to get enough done to have the Friday off.

Should be good.
