Saturday was storm day. Rain, hail, lightining strikes ... we copped the lot. The rain was welcome and I figured it with Sunday morning having clear blue skies I would head out to Eagleby wetlands so see if the birdlife was celebrating. And indeed they were. Only downer was the Black-winged stilt I photographed from afar only to find out when I got home its left foot was missing, which explained the slight limp. It seems to be coping well despite the handicap.
