Early morning

In my gardenwink, just getting in my car to drive to Phillip Island to see if the Silver Gulls that were sitting on eggs two weeks ago had any chicks yet, the thought of not leaving my own garden crossed my mind. There are more birds around my own property than I could find a few hundred Km down the freeway. Anyway I quickly took some photos of about 20 Yellow-faced Honeyeaters in the "good for nothing, non native tree" that is home to so many different birds.

There were also at least 5 Golden Whistlers, here is one of them. Will take some more time tomorrow to get more photoscheeky They just buzz around the Gum Trees.

So lucky M-L! :)

I adore yellow-faced honeyeaters. :) That's a lot of them in one place, that's for sure!

I think that Golden Whistler knows it's posing. laugh

Obviously that non native isn't as "good for nothing" as you think if it contains many birds species lining up for their turn in front of the camera.
