Great series of shots Rick. I agree with TBL that the third shot is outstanding and I hadn't noticed the change in colour of the commissural line (I think that's what it's called) from yellow to green during the breeding season. Very striking!
For anyone who isn't aware if you click on any of these photo's it will take you to a larger clearer image.
Nice. I wonder if they can see underwater. Or if its a bubbled splash that clears to a fuzzy scene like us humans.

Fantastic Rick. I too love the third one. I can see that hanging on a wall somewhere.
Lovely shots :)
Great shots! The third photo is so good with all the water drops and the white plumes at the back of the egret.
So Rick, not far from the new acquisition I presume. Will be a nice way to spend some early mornings.

Wow stunning set of photos Rick.
Pretty deep water for an egret wading in #1.

Really lovely shots Rick! The light is just beautiful in all of them, and then #3 just shows that lovely colour off to it's best.
Thanks for sharing!
Wow, these shots are stunning. I hadn't realised that their gapes become so blue!
