You're welcome Woko; I never cut back the spent flowerheads because of the rosellas; they come back each year for them, so it's not something new here. I'm so pleased I can offer them a treat.
Really beautiful pic, dragonfly. So colourful. We also only get the Pale Head rosellas, and they too get into the crepe myrtle seeds. Timmo, I think they are both gorgeous, each in their own way, especially when the males get their glowing breeding colours.

Beautiful shot, dragonfly. I love these guys, they're such a "typically Australian" bird.
We don't get them around here, just the Pale-headed variety, which I also like, but they're nowhere near as striking.
