Stunning! Really great shot, clear and with good eye-contact! I can't get over how important good eye contact is lately. The angle of the head adds to the difference between good and really good.
Whereabouts do you live sparrow, I've never seen one of these?

I live in Stawell S/W Victoria,10min from the Gampions N/P (small bird heven) Spinebills can be found on most of the East coast more common in the S/E though.
And yes eye contact and head turn are two of the most important things in bird ( and people ) photography .
