Hi! it’s me againe. This time is a feather I have several feathers, but this one I don’t know what it is.I found it in the Grampians, vic. It’s 23cm long. And I think it’s one of the first primary fathers, going by it’s shape.

Pelican? Probably too small...

Looked at palicans flying...the wings don’t seem to have white on the tips.

I was looking threw my feathers and found this one againe, I hav some magpies feathers and it has the same shape.
almost cirtian it's a magpie feather now, I know these birds can hav some unusual markings.

I think Silver Gull, most likely P8 (the 3rd most outer primary). The white window near the end of the outer primaries varies a lot. They sometimes don't have the little bit of white at the tips, and the white tips often wear off too.
Oh ok cool. I have a gull feather from lower on the wing, the ends missing and it's grey.
that seems like the feather. Don't tend to see mnay gulls here often, but it seems the closest match!
