Frank today...

After I folded some washing and put my camera on top, I decided to take some rubbish to the bin. There he was sitting on my washing next to the camera. He loudly talked to me as if he was saying: hey, no photography today? I'm waiting. Like yesterday I told him to wait, while I got the other camera. He waited, and he wasn't going anywhere. We talked for some time, I took some photos. Wonder what he will do next?

Araminta, what fantasic photos! Just had a look at your yellow robin entry in response to my little wattle bird querie.  I went and winged to my husband that I wanted to be able to take better photos - like Araminta's robins!!! I showed them to him and we went looking for more of your shots and saw these - even more envious now as you must have taken them with your secondary camera. Love the bird's eye shot too!!

Thanks sooooo much for your generous compliments. Yes, the "Frank photos " are taken with my old Sony SLT -A55V, and my short Sony lens, a 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 SAM

But Frank is so special, he lets me hold the camera right in his face. Even a human would have to be a good friend to let you do this.

Sigh....Frank!  I love you!  When Frank appears for his next photo session, please let him know he has a big fan in coastal NSW.

I really love the photo where he's chatting to you...looks like an opinionated bird!

I wonder if he might be a hand-raised bird either released or escaped, and that's why he's so friendly?

Thanks sacrednavel, I was thinking the same, but I'm hoping he comes to talk to meblush. There is no other reason, I don't feed him. He has been visiting for more than 2 years now, and his wife is never far away, just watching. I have tried to understand what he says, but what ever it is, he will have learned from me. Today it rains, so he might not turn up, but when he does, I'll let him know about his fan in NSW.

This photo of Frank talking into the camera gives me an idea, I could record him and try to understand what he says.
