Given that Freckled Ducks are endangered it's always great to see them.
Araminta, I thought that Freckled Duck are nomadic rather than seasonal. It'll be interesting to see if they turn up at the Coolart Wetlands soon. Keep in touch!

)was taken on the 30 of August last year. That made me thing I should be looking for them again in the same spot now. Hm, are you telling me, they might never come to the same lake.?

I'll be very interested to see if they do appear at roughly the same time this year, Araminta. I have my doubts they will because they're nomadic, I understand, & take advantage of wetlands anywhere within their range depending on where it has rained.
