Maybe not the correct forum for this photo but found these fascinating little fungi in my garden after the rain started. Have yet to identify them.

Isn't nature wonderful? Beauty around every corner, you just have to open your eyes.
(I love macro photography, would be better posted under "General"? No idea what it is though.

I don't know a great deal about fungi, but I believe these are of the genus Phallus (so named for rather, er, obvious reasons)...

A form of Phallaceae stinkhorn, Phallus Indusiatis. I saw some red ones today. Phallus Rubicundus. Most amazing but smelly fungus.
