In November I posted about a common "wallaby" which Ms Woko saw early one morning at our bird bowl. I now find this wasn't a common wallaby but a common wallaroo, clearly demonstrating that I'm still learning - & probably need to.
Today I saw a male & a female common wallaroo & was able to photograph the male. The female hissed at me before disappearing into the scrub.
Interestingly, our place is well south of this species' distribution as indicated on the 3 distribution maps I've looked at.
