Hi all. Just a couple of questions about this forum.

1. I notice that I have to constantly log into the forum to post a topic or a relpy. It appears that the cookie is not setting for some reason. Is there a secret to getting the cookie to set?

2. I don't seem to be able to modify any of my posts. Is this normal or is there something I am Missing?

There are plans to upgrade the website, however what you have noted applies to me also. I believe there is an activity or simply a set timeout on your login which is why you may need to re-login during a session. Likewise, with the editing feature - the site is based on the older style bulletin board forum which (while this one does allow some basic link, smilie and formatting features), it does not allow editing or users to delete their posts.
A lot of the newer forums are also restricting editing to a specific time frame and the deletion of posts to administrators for continuity and other reasons. I don't think Holly would have enough time to be a full time administrator anyway due to her other roles and commitments.

On other forums, the ability to modify your own posts is helpful to correct spelling errors, etc. I do agree though that members should not be able to delete posts. It can cause problems.

We all make spelling mistakes, mostly me!! Nobody cares too much, so don't worry! To make sure you don't, if it bothers you, or you want to log in again, you can copy and paste.I don't have any problems with anything! But I'm not good with the finer details of technology, or spelling! LOL
