I've went to the Desert Park (8 years ago)and was very impressed. They have a raptor show (similar to the one at Healsville in Melbourne) and the park is designed to show all the central Oz habitats. The West Mac Rges is good for birds (get there early b4 the crowds and would recommend any or all of the gorges to as far west as Ormiston. The East Macs are good too, with the added bonus that not many people go there. The Telegraph Station is also good for birds as are the Sewage Works. If you have the time (we didn't) then it's worth visiting Kunoth Well which is NW of Alice on the Tanami Rd. where you may see Grey H/E. Have fun and good luck.

hi George, have noted all points and try to get to as many as poss. Thanks for the info, sounds like you enjoyed it and I'm sure I will too. Hev

Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best
