Hi Guys, here is just a quick question I thought of the other day while spotting some nesting birds;
When birds aren't nesting, do they still live in their nests?

I know swallows hang around their nest even when not nesting. Some birds build roosting nests for winter, but they're not the same as breeding nests.
I kept birds in aviaries for many years, some finches roosting nests can be bigger and more elaborate than there breeding nests but they seldom have any lining
Oh, thanks a lot! That is really interesting, I had never actually though about it until the other day! :')
Tweety, Queensland! :)
