Noisy Major put up good general advice and Gelmir has posted a tutorial on how to use Photobucket to host photos and upload from there.
You cannot upload photos directly. They must be hosted on a web photo-hosting site first. There are lots of them, and free. Follow Gelmir's advice. Most photo hosting sites work in similar manner. http://birdsinbackyards.net/forum/messages.cfm?threadid=0D28872D-BD77-C218-7FB35680281A8A9B
Also, a thing to watch out for is that the message folders, such as the "general" one within which you have lodged this notice, actually have a series of pages, so when you went looking for advice here, you did not search the older pages. See top right hand corner of the "general" section and you will see other pages are available. We all get caught out by this, from time to time.
