Had some company in the bird hide this morning.

This Currawong hopped through the door and then on to the sill and watched the swamp with me for a few minutes this morning.

Bird watchers in bird hides sometimes leave Pied Currawong-friendly tid bits lying around. Did you notice any Violet Crumble bar wrappers lying around, Shorty?

No, Woko.

Nothinig for it to eat, they quite often come for a look but this was the first time they came in and sat for a while.

When I read your title, I half expected something of the reptilian variety - glad it was feathered, bird hides are rather small to be shared with our scaly friends laugh.  He looks quite comfortable there Shorty, sheltered, dry and in a perfect spot to watch the local comings and goings, smart birds Currawongs.
