Bedding out of class today, I notest a disturbance among the galahs feasting in the pine trees out the back of the school.
i looked up to see what a larg harrier weaving in and out of the canopies, as the harrier began to suddenly drop to a young galah perched on an exposed branch, I realised that it was a spotted harrier. The galah chick, still gray and a little fuzzy quickly took of. Being you the parrot few under the harrier, folding it’s wing and begging to fall, avoiding the talons of the spotted harrier. The galah continued falling for about 3 meaters, then it opened its wings and began to land. (Kind of like a parachute). The harrier continued to fly out parst the trees, gaining hight until I could no longer quite see what it was. It was my first time to see him/her in 3 months.
I’ll start working on a pitcher...it may take a wile.
