I saw this bird yesterday in Berwick(Vic), have not seen one before. I only got this not so good shot. As it always happens, I said: look, look there is....., and by the time I got the the camera, it had moved higher in the tree.
I think it is a White-naped Honeyeater, what do you think?
That was my first impression too,
I'd say you're right. Considering these birds are meant to be quite common, I'm wondering why I have never seen one! Perhaps because they spend most of their time in the tops of trees?

if you were in Queensland I would suggest that it could also be a White-throated HE
