Sulphur-crested Cockatoos are not exactly my favourite birds. But this one was very friendly, and because I happened to have the camera in my hands, I took some photos of him.

The second shot is an interesting one. Have you cropped this or was this just very close?
Also what is you favourite bird if it's not a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo?
Samford Valley Qld.
Why don't you like them M-L? I reckon there're gorgeous birds. Nice shots too, they are so sharp, what do you use?

Thanks Reflex. I was very close to the bird, even had to step back , because of the long lens. It is cropped a tiny bit, it had the eye in it, but i didn't want the eye in the photo.
I don't like to have Cockatoos in my garden Tegan, because I have countless smaller native birds, and Cockatoos are a very dominant bird , take over and can also be very destructive.
To answer your other question Reflex, my favourite birds are Superb Fairy-wrens. I have observed their behaviour for years. I have many of them breeding in my garden. (I used to bore people with my wren photos all those years I posted them on BIBY every day)
