Honeyeater - but which one?

Saw this in my garden for the first time today. Not seen one of these before. Wasn't sure if it was a yellow plumed honeyeater or something else?

My location is the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria.

I think it's a Crescent Honeyeater.

I thought it was the one and the same bird. It's just two different shots of it as it moved around the bush.  I'll look them both up.

Well, definitely not a brown honeyeater as they're not present in Victoria. So could be a cresent by the looks of it.  It's got the white stripe on the shoulder and the olive brown and yellow markings. From what it says at http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/species/Phylidonyris-pyrrhopterus looks like it could be a female.

First time I've seen one of these but will be keeping an eye out for its return.  Thanks for your help smiley

Both of them are Crescent Honeyeaters. (I'm 100% certain, have some in my garden)

Yes, the light can play tricks. I thought putting the two images up there might help smiley
