Photo 1: This Kingfisher was found amongst all the mangrove trees at Bondall Wetland in Brisbane. It was banging the crab against the tree and was somewhat a decent size compared to the other Kingfisher photos (probably the biggest)
Photo 2: This Kingfisher was also found at Bondall Wetlands in Brisbane however from memory was a lot smaller then the one in photo 1. This was not found amongst the mangroves either and more found in the general foresty environment
Photo 3: This Kingfisher was found at Gould Adams park in Kingston, Logan. This kingfisher was also very small
Photo 4: This Kingfisher was found at Greenwood Lakes Park in Forestdale, Logan. This kingfisher was also somewhat small from memory.
*I have more photos of these kingfishers if needed
The first two photos look like sacred kingfisher.

Sedie
1/ Is a Collared Kingfisher due to white dot in front of eye and habitat
2/ Sacred Kingfisher - Orange streek infront of eye and habitat
3/ Unsure due to photo
4/ Sacred due to orange Buff.
Hope this helps
Michael
Thanks Michael. Are you sure the first one isnt a Forest Kingfisher? I couldnt really tell the difference between a Forest and Collared Kingfisher
Also for image 3. These are also pictures of the same bird. Do either of these help?
I agree with Michael on 1,2 & 4. Both Collared and Forest Kingfisher have the white patch in front of the eye but the Forest KF is a deep cobalt blue on the outer wings and head, Collared KF is a more greeny blue colour. Google images has good photos for reference. Bird #3 is difficult to tell due to poor light but it is not a Sacred KF, I am leaning towards Forest Kingfisher.

Thanks heaps! Based on forest Kingfishers have been found at the park so you could be right :D
Just because something hasn't been recorded at a site before does not mean it is not possible...
Yeah I completely agree :)
