Hi anyone have any ideas what this might be?
i was thinking White-Necked Heron but the colours aren't quite right - maybe Non-breeding White Necked Heron??

Appears to be a White-faced Heron.
Spot on Akos. I can make out the white face and the darker throat.

ok thanks Windhover & Owen - in my book the flying shot of a white faced heron seems too dark but then the white necked heron doesn't have the white with the dark edges
it does get confusing
