ID help please Elanora Qld

I have an early morning bird call, that I can't identify.  I haven't been able to sight the bird.  The call sounds like   "here, come here, come here".    We live in elevated area with plenty of large trees and bush type gardens and experience a wide range of transient birds.  I just don't recognize this call and would appreciate any pointers.  with thanks

Sorry chopes, don't know what bird would call "come here..."  If the bird calls every morning, try to find it, make a recording, or try to give more sound description.

Remember that one man's "come here" is another man's "wingle pargle".  Some other things could help, like how high-pitched it is, how long it lasts, does it change note, etc.

I just thought soakes description of the sound was funny.

Sometimes when i get 5 mins from my lousy job and i look up my favourite forum it's the little things that make me laugh like the description soakes provided.

Thanks for asking Beef.

Sounds like King parrot but I don't know where you live?

See it!  Hear it!

Hi there, thanks for replying -  I will record it -  (best advice, thanks)

The call is rapid, high note.

My description was as mnemonic bird song

I'm sorry but I don't think my description is too far out, but it seems for some hard to grasp.

I live on the Gold Coast -   I am sure it's not a King Parrot, thanks for the tip.

There's always the sound library, one by one by one :)
