I think your right! looked them up in the bird finder and they appear to be the same. Not wrong about being quite inquisitive, I swear a group of 3-4 maybe 5 were following me for about 150m lol
Yes, they are definitely inquisitive, and quite energetic.
You might notice that they often land on a branch, then fly out in a little circle to check things out and land back on the same spot.
Hope you enjoyed Karawatha - I need to get back out there again soon, and see what plants are in flower and what birds are around. Last time I was there, I spent lots of time watching a Tawny Frogmouth and Superb and Red-backed fairy wrens in the area near the Illaweena Rd carpark.
I think a Grey fantail,I don't know what other fantail it could be,but it's definitely a fantail.
