After I posted some Ibis mating shots a little while ago, today many were feeding young, some were still mating, and others were still sitting on eggs. Everything was happening on the same mount of sticks in one of the lagoons at the Coolart Wetlands.
Here are some of the many photos I took before the heavy rain and hail . I wonder how the little Ibis chicks coped , they don't have any shelter. I hope there was enough room under mother's wings for them to stay warm, dry and safe
In this shot you can see how close to the edge some of the little one are. I wonder if they ever fall and drown? Don't think they would be able to get back up?

Great shots M-L
They are so sweet! Their little bodys look a bit like roast chickens
I always think that the ibis babys and the pelican babys are so cute
Lovely photos M-L,
Do you know how the babys are after the storm?
I don't Elsie. But you just gave me the idea to ring the ranger at the Wetlands tomorrow ,to find out. They would exactly know.

Ahh, ok I hope that they are alright
