We went to Coolart Wetlands (Vic) today, the Ibis were busy building their communal nest at the edge of a lagoon. There was a lot of mating going on. I took a few hundred photos, here are some.
What was really funny, the girl Ibis didn’t even stop arranging sticks while they were mating .
The girls know where the priorities are... LOL. Great pics.
Same here today, I went to Tomato Lake in Belmont where there are so many Ibis building nest and making families.

Even sex for them is a shared event, I have some photos where the guy simply turns around after the deed, and takes (can't be described any other way) the girl sitting next to him.
Why is that lake called "Tomato Lake"?
